The Knead Room is a one-room massage studio in Pontcanna, Cardiff. Deep tissue and sports massage for desk backs, runners' legs and stress shoulders, plus pregnancy massage from the second trimester. Every session starts with five minutes on what your body has been doing that week, and the pressure is yours to set - firm does not have to mean gritting your teeth. Warm towels, warm oil, and no candles-and-whale-song pretence: this is bodywork that works.

Cardiff Half training is in full swing and so are the calves coming through this door. Pre-race massage: two to three days before, not the night before. Book your slot now.
The working-from-home shoulder is real. Forty-five minutes on the upper back and neck, plus three stretches you can do between meetings - I will show you before you leave.
Side-lying setup with a proper pillow rig, safe from week 13 onwards. Gentle on the bump, firm where you need it. GP note welcome but not required.
The table now heats. January clients, you are welcome. It stays on until roughly May, Welsh weather depending.
Vouchers are up for 45, 60 and 90 minutes. The 60 is the one people actually finish wishing was longer, for what it is worth.
