Maple & Mane is a small independent salon tucked in Manchester's Northern Quarter, specialising in colour - balayage, lived-in blondes and proper colour corrections. We are a tight team who would rather take the time to get your tone right than rush you through the chair, and every appointment starts with a real consultation, not a guess. Whether it is your first balayage or you are growing out a box dye that went wrong, you get an honest plan, a price up front and hair that still looks good three months later. Walk-ins welcome when we have space - booking ahead is safest.

Six hours well spent. We lifted this gently from a box-dyed brown to a soft, lived-in balayage that grows out without a harsh line. No bleach panic, no brassy ends - just a tone that suits her. Swipe for the before. Booking colour for the summer? Get in early, weekends go fast.
A home kit gone wrong, rescued. This took patience and the right products, not a one-and-done bleach. If your colour has not gone to plan, do not reach for another box - come in and let us look. Honest plan, honest price.
The brief was 'blonde but not yellow' and we got there in one sitting. Toned to a clean, cool beige and finished with a gloss to keep it shiny. Blonde is a commitment - we will always tell you honestly how many sessions it will take.
Sometimes you do not need colour, just a shape that works with your hair. Soft curtain bangs and a long layered cut to bring some movement back. Two weeks of growing-out advice included, free, because bangs are a journey.

Three quick ones: wash less often, turn the water down a notch, and use a proper colour-safe shampoo (we stock the ones we actually trust). Looking after it at home is half the battle - and it saves you money between visits.
