Studio Luna is a colour-first hair studio just off Call Lane in Leeds. Balayage, lived-in blondes, copper melts and glossing - colour that looks better in daylight than it does on a feed. Every appointment starts with a proper consult so the colour fits your hair history, your skin tone and how often you actually want to be in the chair. Cuts and blow-dries too, always finished for real life rather than one photo.

This is the same balayage eight weeks after the appointment - still soft, still blended. That is the whole point of lived-in colour: it grows out like it was meant to.
Coppers are everywhere this summer and I am not complaining. A full melt with a gloss finish - come in with photos, leave with a version that suits you.
Blow-dry and waves for a client off to a wedding in York. Holds all day, brushes out soft. Book event hair two weeks ahead in summer.
The salon got a little refit - new backwash chairs you can actually fall asleep in. The head massage at the basin stays, obviously.
Taking a box-dye brunette to a soft blonde over two sittings instead of one - slower, kinder, and the hair stays on your head. Honest timelines beat one dramatic photo.
Studio Luna turned six. Started with one chair and a colour trolley; now there are three of us and a waiting list for Saturdays. Thank you, Leeds.
