The Fade Room is an independent barbershop in Ancoats, Manchester. We do one thing properly: sharp, modern cuts - skin fades, textured crops, scissor work and beard sculpts, finished with a hot towel. No conveyor belt, no rushing you out the chair. We will tell you honestly what suits your hair and face shape rather than just copying the photo. Walk in when we have a gap, or book ahead to lock your time and your barber. Clean number-zero skin fade into a textured crop on top - low maintenance, grows out tidy, suits most face shapes. This is the cut we get asked for daily. Swipe for the before. Book ahead for weekends, we fill up.
Sharp mid fade with a clean hard part for definition. Looks complicated, low effort to keep - a quick blow-dry and you are out the door. Save it and bring it in.
A proper beard sculpt is half the cut. We line it up to your jaw, not a stencil, and finish with a hot towel and oil. Comes free with any cut for the next two weeks - first come, first served.
Not everything is a fade. This is all scissor work - a soft, natural crop for a lad growing his hair out who still wanted shape. We cut to your hair, not a trend.
We are good with first cuts and fidgety little ones - no drama, no rush. Kids' rate every day before 4pm. Saturday mornings book out, so grab a slot early.
Matte clay for texture without the grease, a light sea-salt spray for natural lads. We will show you exactly how to style it at home so it looks as good on day three as day one. Products on the shelf if you want them.

Walk-ins are always welcome when we have a gap, but if you are tight on time, book ahead and your barber and slot are locked in. Quietest first thing midweek, busiest Saturday - plan accordingly.
Burst fades around the ear are everywhere right now and for good reason - clean, sharp and pairs with a mullet or a crop. Not sure it is you? Ask and we will be honest.
